A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between Resources Himalaya Foundation (RHF) and Red Panda Network (RPN) for the next three years in July 4, 2014.
Red Panda Network (RPN) is an autonomous INGO, governed by an independent board, dedicated to red panda and its conservation. It was registered in USA in 2006 with a mission of conserving red panda and its habitat and a vision of global networking for red panda conservation and promotion of global interest in its conservation.
As per the MoU, RPN will supervise two research grantees of “Dr. Pralad B. Yonzon Wildlife Research Grant” each year which is supported by Dr. Pralad Yonzon’s family. Furthermore, RPN will also provide training on wildlife research technique and data analysis twice a year and will also produce and publish Red Panda status paper for wider dissemination.
RHF looks forward for significant contribution to wildlife conservation with this collaborative partnership with RPN.
